Email Migration - Moving to Exchange Online

<-- Migrations ON OR AFTER 15th December 2018 (Saturday) -->

Q: Where do I access my e-mail?

A: Your new e-mail will be received into your new Office 365 e-mail account and can be accessed via https://webmail.limepictures.com.
To login you will use your Lime e-mail address e.g. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and your Lime computer password that you normally use each day to log into your computer and use the Lime network folders and files etc....

Q: Where is my old e-mail, pre-migration?

A: Your Microsoft Outlook on your desktop/laptop etc... will cease to function during the migration and you will only be able to send and receive e-mail via https://webmail.limepictures.com. Note: There will be no e-mail history until the 2nd week of Jan 2019. This process is ongoing so do not expect to see all of your e-mail at once.
With regards to accessing e-mail through the Microsoft Outlook Desktop Client, this will be available to all computers with the following exceptions: Hollyoaks Production Office Hot Desks, Design Office Hot Desks & Hollyoaks Scripts Office Hot Desks.
Please note if you have a permanent desk, you will have the ability to use the Microsoft Outlook Desktop Client.

The reasoning for Webmail is to allow for speedier access to e-mail for people coming off and on shoot. This will also be further sped up by utilising single sign-on (unified/same password for all Lime systems).

<-- Migrations prior to 14th December 2018 (Friday) -->

Q: Where is my new e-mail received during my migration?

A: Your new e-mail will be received into your new Office 365 e-mail account and can be accessed via https://webmail.limepictures.com.
To login you will use your Lime e-mail address e.g. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and your Lime computer password that you normally use each day to log into your computer and use the Lime network folders and files etc....

Q: How do I see my old e-mail, pre-migration?

A: Your Microsoft Outlook will hold your old e-mail during the migration and you can open, forward, reply to an e-mail as before. But you will NOT see any new e-mail in Outlook until your migration is complete and a member of the IT team visits your computer/laptop to make the final change.
At this point you will then be using your Microsoft Outlook as before with old and new e-mail in one place.

Q: How long with the migration take?

A: Migration will be managed in groups. We will communicate to you directly when we are planning to migrate your mail with specific timings of when this will take place and when you can expect migration to complete.

Q: Will I still have all of my folders once the migration has completed?

A: Yes. The folders and folder structure that you had within your old Mailbox, will appear exactly the same in the new Mailbox, however this may not be available immediately after migration.

Q: Will my e-mail signature remain the same?

A: No. Your e-mail signature will need to be re-created. We will communicate separately after your migration has completed with instruction on how to do this.

Q: Will I still have all of my sent items?

A: Yes. You’re sent items will be migrated across, however they may not be available immediately after migration.

Q: Will I still be able to see my own and other delegated calendars?

Q: Will existing distribution lists be migrated across?

  A: Yes.

A: Yes. You will still be able to access your old and new e-mail throughout the entire process. As above new e-mail will go to https://webmail.limepictures.com and your old/historical e-mail will remove in Microsoft Outlook. Once the migration is finished, then you will see all of your e-mail and folders within the webmail and then finally within Microsoft Outlook which will include everything, as before.

Please use Microsoft Outlook Contacts to store your contacts as this is the facility that has been supplied by Microsoft and will be able to be migrated in any future e-mail projects.
